    LogoRAISE4e-Inclusion, this is the name of the new project launched in Winter 2012.

    Born from the successful and innovative experience and results of the project VET4e-Inclusion, the “RAISE” project aims at continuing and developing efforts in suturing the digital gap in Europe, and to provide facilitators of social inclusion with adapted training resources to improve their accompaniement of persons excluded from access to ICT.

    The project is conducted by a consortium of organizations coming from 6 European countries:

    INFREP (France) as the project coordinator, ACDC from Romania, ARCI from Italy, Fundacion Esplai from Spain, FDEP from Switzerland and AID from Belgium.

    The VET4e-Inclusion project is candidate for the award contest “2012 e-Inclusion Awards”!

    The contest, launched at the beginning of the year by the European Commission, is openned to all actors, organisations and persons who developped an e-inclusion solution or experienced a story which fostered their e-inclusion. It’s worthwhile to note that the last edition of this contest was in 2008! The 2012 edition thus promises to be very interesting.

    VET4e-I project at TELECENTRE EUROPE SUMMIT, a good feeback from EU telecentres’coordinators

    Once more, the VET4e-I project team has gained positive feedback from peers and especially, telecentres’ coordinators from all over Europe as they took part in the yearly event “Telecentre Europe summit” on last 26th to 28th october.

    This was the opportunity for VET4e-I team to present the latest conclusions, after the project’s phasis of consolidation of its exploitation and sustainability strategy.

    Therefore, questions such as ways to support the actions of the telecentres and the roles played by the e-facilitators that were at stake during the summit have been discussed and enriched by some of the VET4e-I project results’ analysis shared with the public.

    VET4e-I in the DiVa project good practices catalogue

    The DiVA project, which focused on gathering best practices of dissemination and exploitation strategies from LLP projects, has released their final results.

    The VET4e-I project, which had been identified by DiVa as a good practice, participated in the DiVa meeting in last october and presented its own example, methodologies and strategies of dissemination and exploitation.

    Publication of the Bridge IT catalogue of good practices

    The Bridge IT network – gathering stakeholders from all over Europe promoting ICT for social economic integration of migrants – has just released its catalogue of good practices. The actions and initiatives inventoried are organized in four pillars: “ICT for Education and Learning”, “ICT for Civil society and social capital”, “ICT for Labour and Economic integration” and “ICT for enabling further ICT appropriation”.

    VET4e-I is presented in the section “ICT for Education and Learning”.

    Dortmund meeting sets new steps to go ahead

    The 4th coordination meeting held in Dortmund, Germany, designed a plan of the very next steps of the project to focus on.
    A month and a half after the end of the courses experimentation, which has been very successful regarding the evaluation and analysis studies, the project members reflected on ways to exploit the tested modules.

    Get on line week 2011: Publication of the outcomes in a report

    VET4e-I on-line training: five weeks after the start, a feeling of great success!

    What a great experience! After four very intensive weeks of on-line activities, the VET4e-Inclusion pilot training is now over.
    Hosted on the Moodle distance learning platform, the twelve tested modules have captured the attention of more than 300 students and four European staff teams!
    The number is eloquent, but the experience lived by each and every participants and expressed when comes the moment to say good bye is the most convincing… So they say…
